Dive it! Mexico – (Playa del Carmen)

(5/5) Hicimos una inmersión submarina con unos instructores realmente excepcionales. Alex e Iván, fueron muy precisos y profesionales: antes de la inmersión Alex nos dio una clase teórica completa y clara, y estuvo siempre muy atento durante toda la experiencia. Es una actividad que realmente vale la pena, porque te permite ver el mundo marino desde otro punto de vista y también te ayuda a conocerte y a controlar mejor tu cuerpo. Alex e Iván demostraron ser unos instructores excelentes y los recomendamos totalmente a otras personas que quieran vivir esta experiencia.

(5/5) Excelente experiencia de buzo, perfecto para primerizos o experimentados. Muy buena atención del staff. Beto nos acompañó desde principio a fin, nos asistió en todas las dudas y necesidades bajo el agua.

(5/5) I had a great diving experience with Dive it! Mexico. Our instructors, Gustavo and Alex, were excellent. Both came across as very experienced, professional, safety-conscious and pedagogical, while at the same time super relaxed and easygoing. A perfect combination for dive instructors 🙂It had been about three years since my last dive, so on their recommendation I started with a refresher session before heading out on the boat. A great call and made everything feel more dialed-in and top of mind once we got in the water.Visibility and marine life during the dives were a bit mediocre, but as always, being underwater is magical in itself, especially in Mexico’s beautiful underwater environment.For some reason we did not get wetsuits, which meant I got colder than ideal, particularly during the second dive, but it was manageable and not a major issue.Planning to do another dive (ship wreck) with them on January 1st.All in all, a top-notch experience and I would absolutely recommend this dive center if you are staying nearby.

(5/5) Arturo was excellent with the kids! He took taught them all the fish they would see, and had them grab a life ring when we got out of boat. He pulled them all around to snorkel. Great little reef. We were excited to see a turtle.The staff was excellent and the price was fair.This is just a heads up, and nothing the staff could have change it. You do have to wade through quite a bit of seaweed at about chest high water to pull yourself into the boat. You are right at the beach so the waves are hitting the boat while you climb the ladder. I would not recommend this trip for anyone with mobility issues. The boat ride was longer than I was expecting, almost an hour to and from the reef. The boat ride was extremely rough and bumpy. It was more or an adventure than a leisurely boat ride. We were told no sunscreen before snorkeling in the reef, and had to leave our bags and at the dive it location, which meant we couldn’t put sunscreen on after the reef or cover with towels afterwards. We are sunburnt, and I wish I would have applied sunscreen before arriving. Just a tip for future travelers.

(5/5) First time diving in Mexico and Ivan made it a great experience! He was very kind and helped us on the boat multiple times in changing tanks and getting everything ready. If you’re here between November to February, I would highly recommend the bullshark dive. It’s a short one but a once in a lifetime experience. On our reef dives, we saw eels, squid, stingrays, lion fish, turtles and so much more!

(5/5) I had a good dive in Puerto Morales with Dive It! It was easy to book the service and they were very helpful. On the day, I felt safe and the equipiment was well maintained. Visibility was not the greatest due to windy weather, but Ivan was wonderful and ensured we saw as much as possible. I would dive with this team again.
